learn the php syntax and then get in somewhere good and then show them how good CF is on a standalone machine compared to php. Instead of paying for developers for php they could be paying less developers and be able to afford the cf server cost. Good plan of attack to promote CF.

I see at least 10 new CF jobs posted every week. More often then not, they're at much larger clients than the PHP jobs I see posted. At my company, I was 1 of 2 CF devs hired 3 months ago and we're getting ready to hire 4 more.

Yes, it does seem to be very hit and miss when it comes to location. I had a former co-worker that looked for a job for 2 years in the Madison, Wi area with out luck. He finally got a Job about 90 miles away, that he now drives every day.
