CF8 installation problems: IIS6 + Win2k3

I'm having a hairpulling time right now trying to reinstall CF8 on a Windows 2k3 box running IIS6.
Everything installs fine up until I get to the CF Admin screen to load for the first time.

I get hit with:

Connection Interrupted
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again.

But I can serve up simple html files from the site just fine.

What am I missing during the install?

Just looking at my installation for you to compare:

In IIS the Application configuration has .cfc,.cfm and .cfml files pointing to d:\coldfusion8\runtime\lib\wsconfig\1\jrun_iis6_wildcard.dll

Under Services all th following services are started:
ColdFusion 8 .Net Services
ColdFusion 8 Application Server
ColdFusion 8 ODBC Agent
ColdFusion 8 ODBC Server
ColdFusion 8 Search Server

Under Task Manager I can see jrun.ex running at about 365,000K

I would do 2 things:
1. Access CF via the JRun Web Server and make sure that works.
typically, http://127.0.0.1:8300/cfide/administrator
** If you elected to install with the IIS connector then you will need to enable JWS in jrun.xml. Then restart service.
2. Rerun web server connector wizard. Once it opens, remove the one from the install and add a new one to the site of your choosing.

This was fixed. Our hosting provider had to redo our box. Everything is copacetic now.
