FuseTalk Forums Software: Does it support other CFML engines?

I asked FuseTalk's customer service if they support other CFML engines.

This was their answer:

"We believe that some companies have successfully run FuseTalk on these engines, but FuseTalk does not include these engines in the list of supported environments."

So I was wondering if anyone out there uses FT under Railo or BlueDragon or other CMFL engine.

Thanks!

Greg's Gravatar Hi there, FuseTalk 3.2 uses capabilities in CF 6, 7 and 8 that are not support by other CFML engines.

Adobe's engine is reasonably priced so that is probably the best choice.

Admin's Gravatar @Greg: Thanks for the update. We have a few environments that will require multiple users to test on, so the DEV version of CF9 will limit us. That's why I was thinking of going with a Railo or BD installation and running FT on either one of those.

Looks like I'll have to either get the head cheese to shell out for CF9 licenses and Fusetalk or get a Railo instance with Galleon Open Source forums.
