Superbowl XLIII - Commercials

Is it just me or did all of the commercials suck this year?

I think the only one that made me laugh was the Careerbuilder commercial. (reminded me of a close friend of mine).

But, overall the game was exciting right up to the end.

Ugh..Giants Disappoint

Of all the times for the real Eli Manning to show up! Why not after we win the Superbowl this year and then show up next season?

Play calling was abysmal. 2nd qtr. 4th and inches. Down by 2. within 10 of the goal. GO FOR IT!! WHO THE HELL CALLED A FIELD GOAL!!?!?

That's what did us in. Get the 1st down, try and get the touchdown. If not, go for the field goal, but take sometime off the clock!!! SHEESH!!

As much of a Giants fan that I am, I have to concede, we deserved to lose that game.

At least I have a NY Yankee season to look forward to.

NY Yankees Tickets = $$$$ by 2009

Yahoo! Sports has just reported that seats behind homeplate at the new Yankee stadium will be upwards of $2,500.00.

Yeah you read that right...two thousand and five hundred dollars for a seat.

I can hear it now, "Honey, I'm going to take out a second mortgage to take the kids to a Yankee game".

I'm a diehard Yankee fan but I have to admit that's just insane. Can you imagine what the rest of the seats would cost?

Eli and not Peyton? OMG

Whod'a thunk it!? That the worser (yes i know it's not a word) brother is going further in the playoffs than the superstar brother? What's this world coming to?! I'm a Giants fan and I just have to say I never thought they'd get this far. But, I think their road to the Super Bowl ends in Lambeau Field. Favre is just too good for Manning (Eli that is).

I remember an SNL skit with Peyton hosting the show. Where Peyton was a Sportscaster talking about Office Pools. And one of the topics was, "Peyton Manning is good but crumbles when it comes to tough games and playoffs". I'm glad he was a good sport about the topic, but I have to ask the old adage, "Does art imitate life or vice versa?" hehe
